The Underrated Musical Treasure that Gives You All the Feels

Hi there! It’s another Friyay so today I’m going to introduce you to one of the most underrated musical treasures that were secretly created for us! A band that literally hits you in your soul.

The Band's Name is “Honne” a Japanese word meaning “A Person's True Feeling” which I believe fits their music so much as they give you so much emotion through their songs. They debuted in 2014 as a British Duo consisting of James Hatcher (Producer) and Andy Clutterback (Producer, Singer) who met at a University and decided to create music together.

Can you believe it! It took me 5 years to know about them and thank the Lord I found them on random autoplay in youtube (who can relate?) hahaha

Here are my favorite songs that I recommend you should listen to:

1.) Day One

- Literally the day one I first heard and loved them. They also had a Brooklyn version which I cannot explain how beautiful and sweet it was especially the violin part that is great for weddings 😊

2.) Warm on a cold night (Their Debut Song)

- Imagine sitting on a couch on a rainy night in London or Paris view drinking coffee or tea and listening to this! It's so relaxing and that mood argh I’m in paradise already when I think about it.

3.) Me and You

- Another good vibes sweet song that tells the story of those who unexpectedly found love. Just having a normal life before and suddenly destiny thought, "Hey let’s bring these two people and make them fall in love." (Sana all am I right?)

4.) Good Together

- I love the beat of this song. I have this happy feeling whenever I hear it. “You and I, we are good together you always make me feel better”, the feeling's mutual Honne! hahaha

5.) Got You

I could literally relate to this song “We need to get away, We don’t need no stress”. I love singing that line. I mean, it’s true, you only live like there is no tomorrow so enjoy and have fun right!?

6.) Location Unknown

- You can’t help but sing with the lyrics as you hear it play. It’s about being away from the one you love so somehow in your life you get lost and long to be reunited again back home. Because without your loved one, it feels as if you're wasting time and not living at all. (Ahem that was for “Dear No one”) hahaha

7.) Feels so Good

- Imagine having to finally eat that yummy chocolate cake because the bakeries were closed during the quarantine. This is such a mood that I feel so satisfied listening to it especially singing the chorus! Probably why the title of this song makes sense.

8.) Coastal Love

- The song feels super chill with an 80's vibe in a cold blue afternoon riding across New York City coast~ hahahah

That’s it! I had a hard time choosing because almost all of their songs are amazing for me. I planned the top 5 but it’s not going to give justice to other precious music they made so tad-ah! Top 8!
