Imagine fresh air, a serene forest river view by the pool, a hot relaxing jacuzzi tub, breakfast floats delivered in your private villa, yoga every morning, a feel-good spa day, authentic Balinese food, sunshine, and more!

Yes, it’s real! I never thought I would experience this as my parents, brother and I went to Bali for the first time.
We stayed at Aksari in Ubud, Bali last October 2019 wherein it was just three months since it opened. It is located in Ubud’s Kenderan Village which is only 25 minutes from central Ubud so it was still a great location despite feeling like you're deeply lost in the forest. 😂
I felt like this resort was proof of Bali being a place for pure relaxation and a place to form a deep connection with nature. I would say it is a down-to-earth paradise that you could escape from a busy toxic world.
They also have Aksari in Seminyak but, I believe that this branch is the better place to stay in because Ubud is where you can truly immerse yourself in the Balinese environment. I will further discuss the beautiful areas in Bali in another blog post, so stay tuned!
Now, moving on. (from ahem.... kidding! 😂)
For this blog post, let me take you on a tour and share with you what this hidden treasure has in its chest.

Upon arriving in the resort, they gave us fresh coconuts and yes, it was engraved!
PRIVATE VILLA TOUR
Here is me in front of the Villa Door shaking hands with a Bali Plant that was welcoming us. (Yes, I am that friendly 😂)

We stayed in the Royal Two-Bedroom Villa with Private Infinity Pool that consists of two separate rooms (Master Bedroom and Twin Bedroom) along with a dining area, gazebos, and a private pool.
The room costs IDR 6,300,000 (P20,962 pesos) per night but at the present year 2020 since there is the pandemic, it's price went down to IDR 2,961,000 (P9,852 pesos) per night!.
Note: Prices now may vary tomorrow or other days due to different factors.

There are also two private bathtubs in the master and twin room with a forest view

.

You can see how Balinese Architectures and Designs are so beautiful that it truly compliments the overall aesthetics of the place; it's both inspiring and refreshing- like this bottled water!

Did I mention I met someone? Yes, it’s Alexa! Who, aside from being able to tell us the weather and search for cute looking guys, wakes me up with calm music while I stare at this view!

This is the photo I took on my phone when I woke up so that I'd have a memory to this unbelievable experience. I thought I was in heaven already!
The rooms had Bluetooth speakers, a flat-screen TV, WiFi, and other accommodation essentials. The breakfast is also included.
PRIVATE POOL
My favorite part of this resort (aside from everything haha) is the private pool where you could spend time with nature and eat the complimentary breakfast with the floating tray delivered to your room.
Note: I already forgot how much the tray pictured below cost but you can request one at the reception.

Waitress: Ma'am, what do you want for breakfast?
Me: Everything please!

Sorry, still conservative. 🤣

Our villa was beside a mountain and a river where you can hear the calm flowing of water and yet there are no mosquitoes! How?!

AMENITIES
Aksari Resort has a gym, spa, restaurant, and a bar! (Yay for mango shakes! 😂)
INFINITY POOL AND JACUZZI
There were a lot of floats available so you can have fun in the pool while taking pictures to make them #instagrammable while admiring the forest view. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing too!

My nature-loving heart is in love!

CHAPEL
Every 9 am in the morning, there is a yoga class free for all guests. Of course, I was too lazy to wake up from my fluffy bed (that I wish could stay forever) so I just end up taking a picture of it.

AVANI SPA
We tried the spa and it was worth it! You could just hear calm music and the birds chirping while inhaling the fresh air. The massage was great and their rates and packages were (for me) much more affordable compared in the Philippines. However, my parents were not lucky enough as they had trouble enjoying due to a baby crying in one of the rooms near the spa so that is the only disadvantage of it. However, the overall experience for me was amazing, so while you’re here why not pamper yourself in Balinese style.

Here are the services and rates but this was back in 2019 so they may differ from the prices and services now

The prices are in IDR indonesian Rupiah, not Pesos hahaha
AHNKUSA RESTAURANT
Let’s talk about food! (yum!) If the following dishes are not art, I don’t know what is! The presentation of every food is well-thought and pretty. Also, I would personally say that Aksari gave me the best food I have tasted throughout our stay in Bali.
I recommend their spaghetti (I know it is so common but let me tell you, its sooo good) and their beef rendang too, try it if you go here. Also, there is a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant here that opens at 2 pm but we were not able to try it.

Get your eyes and stomachs ready!

Rose Iced Tea 🥀

No words can describe how fully immersed I was in nature while being completely filled with the beauty of the Balinese architecture, culture, and its very hospitable people. Everyone in the staff was warmly welcoming us and was very accommodating, making us feel special throughout our stay.
This experience made me appreciate nature even more and had brought me peacefulness to myself and everything around me like I'm in a safe haven far away from the outside world.
I would really recommend this place for nature lovers like me who wants to unwind, enjoy the serenity, stand in awe of God's creation, and just forget everything for a while to start fresh again.
5stars for Aksari!
